Motion Graphics is a wonderful way to tell a short story. Its beneficial to commercials because you can do so much more with it then just adding text. You can make short movies as well or amazing beginning and/or ending credits. I hope to learn these things in this class.

Motion Graphics is the satisfaction of executing an idea, with the right mix of vision and audio that touches the emotions, that moves people. I like this definition given by motionworks. It's concise and to the point but what it touches upon that I didn't take into consideration initially perusing for a definition was the affect emotionally motion graphics can have and for that to be a goal when creating a multi-media piece with use of motion graphics.

Motion graphics, aside from the technical definition, is the culmination of creativity, technical savvy, and communication combined. It's a blend of type, images, live action, audio, etc. that has the potential to evoke an emotional response from viewers. Motion graphics makes things much more interesting, and here's an example of how it can really be engaging:

Motion Graphics: It is the art of moving as in position or to animate the inanimate with the use of images, T.V., type, live action, video, etc, as well to tell a story and engage the audience. I hope to be able to utilize more of the tools in after effects to tell my stories with a passion.
